The nettle is sourced from Girardinia diversifolia fibers that are in abundant supply throughout Asia. The regenerated fiber process takes the extruded filaments and wet spins into yarn. During this process waste fibers sometimes find their way into the spinning; you may notice bits of sparkly or even colored fibers in the yarn. The yarn needs to be scoured with something like Soda Ash before dyeing to remove waxes.
