This listing is for a 195 Yards cone of hand-manipulated / guiding with machine-twisting of the hemp fiber into yarn wound onto a cardboard cone. The yarn was dyed a light yellow with Osage Orange.

This hemp has been harvested, washed, dried and hand spun into skeins of yarn. It is harvested and spun in the Himalayan Mountain Region of Nepal. Note - there may be slight over spinning and under spinning in the yarn due to the hand spun process. Hemp fiber gets softer with each wash so if you find the yarn stiff to work with, simmer the yarn in a water / surfactant bath for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
