This listing is for green decorticated, raw and uncombed Hemp fiber grown in the USA. The hemp was striped green and dried. I've then taken the fibers and retted in small bundles in rain water for 11 days. The fiber was soaked for a final time in water and blue surfactant but it still has a strong "earthy" smell that will come out with more washing and processing. It is uncombed and will come in a bundle of unaligned fibers. The lengths vary from 4 feet to short 1 inch but on average I'm seeing about 2 foot lengths of good fiber. It is about 95% hurd free which means there is still hurd (inner part of the hemp stalk) in with the rest of the fibers. This hemp fiber is ready for you to take the fiber bundle further by hackle, comb, spin, twist or card into your choice of fiber, ropes, and yarns.
