The fiber is soya (Glycine max). The regenerated fiber process takes the extruded filaments and wet spins into yarn. During this process waste fibers sometimes find their way into the spinning; you may notice bits of sparkly or even colored fibers in the yarn. In this case the designer also used a light and a dark strand of the soya and plied them together to get a fun color changing yarn. The yarns dyes just like other bast fibers and colors well using both natural and synthetic dyes.
