At Conserving Threads, our reclaimed yarns are from pre-loved items of clothing, sourced largely from second chance stores. I choose mostly natural fibers items that I gently take apart and wind into skeins. The re-purposed yarn was washed in mild detergent and air dried before it was unraveled. Since this reclaimed yarn is recycled from a sweater please be aware that there might tie-ons, either from the manufacturing process or the unraveling process. This yarn is ready to ship now.
