Hemp Dyed Yarn. Hand-Spun Skein, 200 Yards.

This listing is for a skein of dyed hand spun 100% hemp yarn. This hemp has been harvested, washed, dried and hand spun into skeins of yarn. It is harvested and spun in the Himalayan Mountain Region of India. Note - there may be slight over spinning and under spinning in the yarn due to the hand spun process. Skeins are sold by weight and due to the hand spun process, yardage varies. 1 skein can be anywhere from 125 yards to 225 yards depending on how the skein was spun. Hemp fiber gets softer with each wash so if you find the yarn stiff to work with, simmer the yarn in a water / surfactant bath for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The skeins have been dyed using Azo free dyes.
