This listing is for an original copy of a rare 1897 January edition of Fashions, An Illustrated Monthly Journal for American Women, Hartford, Connecticut. The original catalogue was a subscription service highlighting fashions, articles and ads geared towards the American woman. The original catalogue is in fair condition and shows some staining, foxing and tape residue. Some of the pages have split and there is small sections of paper loss. The spine staple or lacings have been removed. These original monthly catalogs are great for identifying antique patterns and getting ideas for those wishing to create fashions inspired by this time period.
