CHIEF CONSERVATOR
Melanie Sanford, Principal Conservator and Owner of Textile Preservation Services of Texas, received her BS from Baylor University and her MS in textile conservation from the University of Rhode Island. She completed an internship at the Textile History Museums Regional Conservation Center, Lowell, MA and then worked at the center for several years as an Assistant Conservator. In 2003 she relocated to Texas and founded Textile Preservation Services of Texas.
